Enjoy this once in a lifetime landscape photography of the Dun Briste Sea Stack at Downpatrick Head.
I took this photo during a six-day road trip down the Wild Atlantic Way. Three friends of mine and me drove all the way from Waterford to explore the West Coast. And we were not disappointed!
The weather during our road trip turned out to be everything we could have asked for. Four days of sun in a row – and that in the end of October! A lot of the photos of this trip wouldn’t have been possible without us being this lucky with the weather. Maybe this beautiful rainbow that we saw on our first day turned out to be our lucky charm.
I took this landscape photography of Dun Briste Sea Stack after we already decided to leave Downpatrick Head. But as I turned around one last time, I saw this natural spectacle happing right behind our backs. Immediately, I walked back to the cliff side to capture the rainbow hitting the cliff in the most perfect way. We were all left in awe, when even a second rainbow appeared just behind the first one. Moments like this one are hard to capture in a photo, but not taking a quick shot at all is of course also not an option.
I hope that this landscape photography makes you smile just as much as it makes me. The bright rainbow in combination with the stormy sea make this photo a joy to look at. Download this photo now and enjoy it in high resolution!
